Unlocking the Potential of Interactive Video Content in Unprecedented Ways

Overview & Role

Tapybl is crafted with a focus on intelligent devices, providing a wide array of interactive features within videos. These include content branching, audio and video analysis, gradable videos, and supplementary learning materials. Together, these features foster a dynamic and captivating learning experience, ensuring that learners remain actively engaged and motivated throughout their educational endeavors.

As the lead brand designer on this project, I focused on visually capturing the platform's dynamic and engaging nature. I crafted a distinctive logo and design elements to reflect Tapybl's intelligent and interactive feature. The goal was to convey innovation, modernity, and educational dynamism in a visually compelling way, enhancing Tapybl's overall brand identity.

The Concept

The final logo concept delves into the outcome of a user 'tapping' on video content, illustrating the ensuing action as a 'spark' or a 'tap of magic.' The logo visually captures the essence of this transformative event.

This creative portrayal goes beyond mere symbolism, offering a visual narrative that communicates the moment of connection and the subsequent transformative experience. The carefully crafted design encapsulates the energy and enchantment associated with user engagement, making the logo a compelling representation of the brand's commitment to delivering captivating and magical content experiences.

Key Deliverables

As a part of the concluding deliverables, I generated the following elements:

  • Logo: I crafted various logo versions to suit different contexts and provided guidelines for ensuring consistent usage.

  • Colour: Defined primary and secondary colours with accompanying usage guidelines, establishing a colour hierarchy for diverse applications.

  • Typography: Carefully selected a font family, offering styling examples, and outlined guidelines for typography usage.

  • Pattern & Iconography: Designed custom patterns to enhance visual interest and created a branded icon set for versatile applications.

  • Imagery & Treatment: Developed guidelines for selecting on-brand imagery and provided instructions for maintaining consistent image treatment.

These deliverables ensure a cohesive and recognisable brand identity, guiding consistent application across various platforms.
