GH Research is a forward-thinking healthcare company with a global perspective. Based in Dublin, they are deeply committed to overcoming the challenges of bringing innovative mental health therapies from concept to clinical reality.
Their mission is to deliver the highest standards of quality and innovation, driven by a fresh mindset and entrepreneurial approach. GH Research is dedicated to providing transformative therapies for patients who have long been underserved by existing options—a bold vision that demands a team of passionate, talented individuals to bring it to fruition.
Since 2023, Kooba has embraced the opportunity to reimagine GH Research’s brand and online presence. As the lead brand and UI designer on the project, I played a key role in developing a new brand identity and website that elevated GH Research’s digital footprint and positioned them for future growth. The partnership continues as Kooba supports their ongoing digital strategy and online ambitions.
Challenges & Objectives
Our goal was to establish the company as a pioneering force in healthcare innovation while enhancing user engagement across various touch-points.
Create a new brand and design system that would position GH Research as a disruptive, ambitious healthcare company poised to transform the healthcare industry.
Design, develop and deliver a unique & immersive online experience that reflects the core ethos of GH Research. Setting a new online benchmark for digital healthcare innovation.
Drive an increase in key onsite metrics with a particular focus on connecting users with their innovative work, career opportunities and investor resources.
Create an Investor Relations Hub to support GH Research as a listed company with up to date and accurate data including Financial & Stock Information and SEC Filings.
Solution
Kooba and GH Research embarked on their digital partnership by undertaking a comprehensive rebranding effort to align with the organisation’s vision and mission. This was followed by a complete overhaul of GH Research’s online presence, with a strategic emphasis on key target audiences—investors, healthcare professionals, and potential employees—while prioritising critical metrics.
We initiated the project with an in-depth needs analysis, a fundamental step in every Kooba endeavor. Guided by targeted UX design principles, we used the insights from this analysis to bring the new brand to life online. The result was a website featuring an efficient and intuitive navigation structure, enabling visitors to easily find relevant information while accommodating future scalable growth.
Outcome
We delivered a new website that not only exceeded GH Research’s technical performance requirements but also captured and enhanced the core essence of their brand—reinforcing credibility and laying a strong foundation for future growth and innovation.
